Hey guys, so as we head closer to the date we are ready to start announcing matches from the sign-ups. Currently all matches are planned to be angled for this event, if you'd like to be on the show drop a response
How does an angled match work? I have only ever rpd.
Normally angled works like wrestling booking, we will book a winner and a loser. If you can also talk to your opponent what your preferred result is that takes us having to make any decisions that might make one party upset.
RP= Competitive rp decides match outcome Angled= match outcome is Booked by either the fed head or his staff.
I hope this helps, if you have any other questions quote this message I’m sure some people have the same question as you.

So your character could technically lose all angled matches but win if the rps are better when those occur?
Forgive me because I understand that’s what you’re going for here but I just don’t get it. Why even opt in if there’s nothing for me to do?

Because you can promote the match, you can write CD's around it. If for the instance, you do a lot of twitter promoting for the show and write a CD or more, this is most likely going to tell the booker you want to participate. Thus you're probably going to win a lot of matches, because you participating and expressing that.
Angled matches aren't decided and set in stone the moment their booked. They can change, especially if you're doing things and your opponent isn't. Yes, you might lose just cause it's booked that way, but you could lose by one or two points in an RP too. The biggest difference between angled and RP is that large written pieces AREN'T mandatory in angled.

Sounds like this isn’t for me then. I don’t really do twitter and just want to write and have my work graded fairly against the comp. Cool idea I guess, but this angled thing isn’t for me.
